Shabby Chic East Nashville Wedding

It’s always a pleasure to be a part of a couple’s big day, and working with Bridget and Keith was truly special. Their celebration was a dreamy, shabby chic affair and I’m so excited to share the details!

The color palette was a perfect mix of fresh and classic—crisp white paired with soft blue for a truly romantic atmosphere. My favorite blue touch was the ribbon on Bridget's bridal bouquet— it really complemented the soft white flowers and created a beautiful contrast to her dress.

Bridget’s bouquet was a showstopper featuring luxurious white peonies, ruffly ranunculus, and fragrant white roses. It’s one of my favorite bouquets I’ve ever created—plump, creamy petals with a touch of sweetness in an organic shape. The bridesmaids' bouquets were designed with simplicity in mind but were no less stunning— single-varieties of white flowers to beautifully complement their dresses. And the groom wore a matching magnetic boutonniere finished in soft white ribbon.

The reception decor truly transformed the space into something magical. I used a runner of bud vases on the head table and guest tables, each one showcasing blooms from the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets. The real showstopper, however, was the candle setup. The venue was lit by an abundance of candles—taper candles on the tables, and pillar and votive candles placed along the ledges on the walls, wrapping around the room and creating an intimate, glowing atmosphere. The soft light from the candles perfectly matched the shabby chic vibe that Bridget and Keith envisioned.

Of course, no wedding is complete without a beautiful cake! For Bridget and Keith’s wedding cake, I used the same white peonies and roses to decorate, tying it back to the bridal bouquet. The cake was simple yet elegant and looked as good as it tasted!

One of the things I love most about working with couples like Bridget and Keith is how the relationship doesn’t end on their wedding day. Bridget and Keith have become repeat customers over the years! Keith ordered flowers for their anniversary, and it was such a joy to create an arrangement that mirrored their wedding colors. And of course I included white peonies reminiscent of their wedding day!
