Ethereal Spring Bridal Shoot in East Nashville

Photography by Embelle

I’m always excited when a photoshoot concept comes together with all the right elements. Jada, the photographer extraordinaire behind Embelle, offered the opportunity to design florals for a stunning bridal photoshoot. The inspiration was ethereal beauty and lightness, with a soft, neutral color palette and I jumped!

I wanted to create pieces that felt light and airy, something that could float in the breeze and add to the dreamy atmosphere of the shoot. The bouquet was composed of both fresh and dried flowers, which gave it a lovely balance of texture and depth. I used quicksand roses, blush carnations, bleached and preserved hydrangeas, and delicate lunaria. These flowers, together with soft, floaty white silk ribbon, added movement and romance to the overall look.

One of my favorite pieces from this shoot was the floral fascinator. It was a unique, impactful accessory that felt fresh and different from the traditional bridal headpiece. Though it was small in size, it made such a statement and added an unexpected touch of whimsy to the bride’s gown. I love to see a bride embrace something unconventional, and this fascinator certainly made her stand out in the best possible way.

In addition to the bouquet and fascinator, I created a grounded meadow of flowering branches that brought a beautiful, ethereal quality to the shoot. These branches, carefully placed to form a natural, flowing design, seemed to envelop the bride in nature’s embrace. The soft, delicate blooms on the branches, paired with their organic, free-flowing design, elevated the overall feel of the photos and helped to create a dreamy, atmospheric mood.

The color palette for this shoot was something I truly fell in love with. It reflects my own branding and provided such a fresh take on a traditional neutral bridal look. I’m always drawn to soft, muted tones, and seeing them come to life in such a beautiful and delicate way was a joy. This shoot will forever remind me of the magic that can happen when the perfect setting, vision, and florals all come together.

The venue was the gorgeous Wilburn Street Studio in East Nashville. This space was a dream— natural light, and textures and finishes perfect for capturing the soft tones of the delicate florals. I truly love working in East Nashville, and this shoot was such a beautiful reminder of this vibrant area of the city that’s home to some of the most incredible businesses and creative spaces.

Our team for this shoot was stacked! A huge thank you to everyone for being so amazing and welcoming!
